Outdoor Wedding – What You Should Know

I love outdoor weddings, because its an opportunity to take the not so traditional approach to a very traditional ceremony.
Mother nature can provide you with so many ideas. Use these to create a romantic yet scenic atmosphere. Take advantage of the colors in your surroundings such as greens; blues; browns;whites; and tie them into you wedding decor, besides its already part of your backdrop. What about the tree stems; leaves; flower petals these can be used as various accents on the tables.
Outdoor weddings always inspire beautiful pictures. The beauty of mother nature accompanied with happy people in celebration, has always made for wonderful pictures, so take advantage of the scenery.
Outdoor weddings can also allow you to expand on your guess list, having the open outdoors as your walls, your guest won’t feel so crowded in this type of venue.
Even though there are many advantages and great ideas that come with outdoor weddings there are a few drawbacks to be cautious of. For instance, “good ol’ mother nature can always “rain” on your magical day. So be sure to check with your venue for alternative arrangements, such as an indoor hall or even a big canopy.
Another disadvantage is a result from rain and thats humidity. Humidity can not only ruin the bridal parties hair but don’t forget about your guests. But by being well prepared, you can provide ice water. Or take the opportunity to pass out gifts by providing paper fans. On the fans, you can have your initals as well as your special date on them. As for the bridal party “up dos” are always classy!!
And dont forget the bugs who want to wish you well. They seem to always get the best seats in the house, whether its right in front of the brides face or just bothering the rest of your guests. It would be great to check with your venue to see if they can provides means to fumigate the area before you and your guest arrive.
Then there are the basics to most weddings, the ceremony, reception, DJ, bridal party, rings, dress, suits, and of course food. Just by taking these things and applying them to your outdoor theme, you and your guess would enjoy your happy union. Its so exciting to get married and with the perfect theme and atmosphere accompanying this, it will make the day that much more perfect.
