Why Casual Wedding Dresses Can Be A Great Option

Think of the typical long, flowing wedding gown. Can you do anything in it at all? On your special day, you want to hug people, mingle, dance and just have fun, but it’s really difficult to do in the average wedding gown. Not to mention, it’s extremely girly and every other bride has one just like it.

You want to be more interesting than that and you want to stand out from the crowd.

Picture a beach wedding, no pesky strappy sandals, just bare feet. And a beautiful yet simple white dress blowing in the warm breeze.

The groomsmen are in simple attire as well. Picture a beautiful, floral backyard and a beautiful white sun dress, just perfect for this occasion. A great advantage of wearing a more casual wedding dress is that you can wear it again. What use is a wedding gown all packed away where no one can see it?

But you wouldn’t wear a puffy, frilly gown like that again. And saving it for a daughter or granddaughter never seems to work, usually she has her own image in her head of what her dress should look like. But, a casual dress you can wear again and again. Wear it on your honeymoon, wear it on your first child’s first birthday, or just wear it to the park.

Wherever you wear it, you will always remember your special day. If you feel that you still need to have a church wedding, you don’t have to feel like you need to wear a formal gown. Many brides have worn casual dresses in church weddings. It’s a great way to save some money on a wedding, which can easily get out of hand. Keep in mind that your dress says something about who you are.

If you are not the girly, princess type, why would you wear a dress that conveyed that image? You are a more casual girl, and you should wear a dress that tells everyone that. It’s your day and if the details are not as you really like them, you will probably look back at your pictures and regret it.
