Some people that do not wish to have a formal wedding may instead choose to have a wedding on the beach. A Beach wedding allows people to keep cost down due to the reduction of wedding decorations and the shortened duration of the ceremony. People choose to have a beach wedding for its more casual atmosphere. If you are deciding to have a beach wedding, then you should not wear a traditional gown and veil.

The traditional outfit can end up being destroyed at the beach. When deciding for a dress, comfort and length should definitely be considered. Having a beach wedding really allows the group to choose whatever they wish to wear. Chiffon, silk, linen and satin are some good lightweight material that can be worn.

A simple outfit would be most ideal for a wedding at the beach, although a traditional wedding dress can be worn. Some brides wear strapless or spaghetti strapped wedding dresses. Keeping it light allows you to truly enjoy the wedding without any stress from the weight. Many people choose a theme for their wedding.

Some may have a Hawaiian theme, or may even have a carnival theme. The beach wedding allows people freedom and creativity, to create a memorable wedding. Another thing to consider along with the wedding dress is the footwear. Some may want to get high heeled shoes, but that would not be comfortable, or even impossible to walk in the sand.

Having the wedding at the beach even allows you to be barefooted for the entire wedding ceremony. If shoes are going to be worn at the wedding, the walk on the sand should definitely be considered and if you are going to be barefooted, the temperature of the sand should also be considered because sand, on a sunny day can get extremely hot.

When getting shoes, the consideration of safety and comfort is a must. When getting the apparel, weight, temperature, and comfort is definitely something to keep in mind, but a wedding at the beach gives the full freedom to ones being married and can be an everlasting memory.
