Wedding Reception Locations – What Are Your Options?

After the solemnity of the wedding, you and your new spouse will want to join your guests and celebrate your new marriage. Your guests will want to greet you and offer you good wishes. All of you will want a place to eat, drink, dance and enjoy each other. A wedding reception is just the place to do all these things.
There are a wide variety of locations available for a wedding reception. You can have the reception in the same location as the wedding (as in the fellowship hall of the church), or you can branch out and have it at a different locale. Often the reception reflects the spirit or theme of the wedding itself. It will all depend on your personal preference.
The location of your reception will also depend on any budgetary constraints you have. Receptions can be held in locations as varied as outdoor parks, cruise ships, favorite restaurants, and clubs. If you are fortunate enough to live in a city with some interesting historical sites, that will give you another option for hosting your reception.
